NewsPortal is designed for content heavy sites. Fast loading and clean layout. The center content area expands to fit the width of the browser window. If you prefer, you can easily change this to fixed width by changing the width in #Page_Wrapper.

This layout rocks! Jakob Nielsen and Sir Tim would approve.
Positional, validated CSS! Three columns, two liquid! Tabs, with the current tab connecting to the color of the content!
Why isn't it in the Top Ten?
Do people need flashy multi-colored graphics to entice them to use this design?

Very solid design. Not heavy on the graphics and easily modified. Works well with many resolutions.
